Michael L. Clark is an award-winning historical fiction author whose stories transport readers across time, from the rugged American frontier to the golden age of sail. Known for crafting family-friendly adventures rich in history, mystery, and unforgettable characters, Michael is the author of The Shimmering Trilogy, the acclaimed Red Raven pirate series, and the Western novel Ambush at Horse Creek, which earned First Runner-Up in the Western category at the 2024 San Francisco Book Festival.

A resident of Pensacola, Florida, Michael is actively involved in the writing community. He serves as Director of Education and Events for Emerald Coast Writers Inc., where he helps develop educational programs, workshops, and special events for aspiring and established authors. He is also the Chairman of the 2027 Books by the Bay, a celebration of literature that brings together readers, writers, and industry professionals from across the region.
